The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in the year 1975, the institution was built with the intention of making it one of the country’s principal tertiary institutions. UNIMAID is located in the city of Maiduguri, Borno State in Northeastern part of Nigeria and also the major higher-education institution in northeast of Nigeria.
