About Clifford University (Brief History)
Clifford University is a private university in Nigeria that is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria, it is located at Ihie Ngwa, Abia State, in the eastern part of Nigeria.
Clifford University is named after a British missionary who introduced or brought Adventism to the eastern part of Nigeria whose name is Jesse Clifford, the institution is established on land belonging to the Adventist School, but during the Nigeria civil war (Biafra war) the land was seized by the government but was later returned to the church in 2013.
